Kicking off the Holiday Season at the St. Mary’s Holly Fair!

Written By: David T. Lee - Dec• 02•18

Saturday and Sunday’s Holly Fair at the St. Mary’s School was a blast! My sister and I had a wonderful chance to talk to so many people, especially families who came to attend the Church’s Sunday services. A long 14 hours of book promotion in 2 days rewarded us with plentiful sales. Many vendors were there selling holiday gifts as well.

One of the highlights was talking with the other vendors, who hadn’t seen us since our last Holly Fair two years ago. They were surprised we had grown up so much. One vendor came to thank us for sharing our book publishing experience at our last Holly Fair: she had since self-published her own book and was selling it at the fair. Quite a few kids took interest in watching our TV demo, reading our books and as always, asking tons of questions. We received some potential opportunities from a board of trustees member in Webster Public Library and a teacher from Worcester Montessori School, who were interested to work with us to introduce our books to their communities.

This event kicked off the holiday season with a spectacular note and we hope our writing brings happiness and inspiration to many families this year (especially the kids!). Special thanks to those who really showed their support for our cause by purchasing multiple books (including one family who bought an entire set of 7 books). Be sure to catch us in two weeks at Auburn High School!

In terms of writing updates, for those who follow us on Instagram (if you haven’t done so, our username is @infomagespublishing), you know I’ve got a new project called “2653”. The story follows an artificial intelligence in the far future as he uncovers a genetic conspiracy promising to bring about the next step in evolution. I’m at 23,000 words so far and still plugging along! My sister Laura is working on a sci-fi thriller called “All the Worlds We Cannot See.” Set in the far future where Earth has long known it’s a simulation, a girl must cure a virus attacking the simulation program while learning to fix her own inner conflicts as well. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks about our books-in-progress!

On another note, Laura’s long-awaited conclusion to her Two Worlds trilogy, “The Dark Trials”, is coming soon!

Happy Holidays!
