Watching the USAF Band of Liberty

Written By: David T. Lee - Apr• 30•12

I couldn’t believe it! I was about to go to see the USAF Band of Liberty at a high school, and I was extremely excited! As we walked inside the auditorium of the school, the concert was already starting.

“This music is awesome!” I thought as the music went underway. Trumpets blared, violins played and tubas roared like lions. The sound itself was almost deafening. The noise was very loud. Believe me; I almost thought that it was going to make an earthquake! The sound roared across the audience like a traveling scent. When the first song was finally done, I clapped and cheered for the music.

I was very much delighted to the orchestra, with the trombones blowing and the percussion in harmony, the sound was like a majestic band instead of a band from the Air Force, playing for the audience wonderful music that I thought would have made a dog look through a window to the auditorium. My eyes were so fixed to the performance; I never knew that half of the show had already passed.

As the second part of the show went underway, I settled down to the music, oh the great big wonderful good music, as again, it roared across the audience like a loudspeaker. I felt very much relaxed as I listened to the sounds and I stared, my sight glued to the orchestra playing the music. The music was very beautiful and harmonic to me as I clapped in rhythm to the music.

As the music came to a stop and we left the orchestra, I thought of the great time listening to that spectacular, great and fantastically brilliant music that played for two hours. I hope I can remember this moment for a very long time.
